The First Four-Leaf Clover
It all started when I was four years old and found my first four-leaf clover on a playground.
I showed it to my mother — she got so excited that I ran back to search for more.
And I did. I found a few more that day.
From that moment, I somehow became able to find what most others have a hard time spotting — that tiny irregularity in a sea of sameness.
A few years later, I found about 300 four-leaf clovers in another playground.
I collected them, carried them home, and spread them out across the floor of my childhood room.
I even took a photograph of the collection — hundreds of small green tokens of chance.
